Description
IQF frozen wild bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus), hand-harvested in the unpolluted forests of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Unlike cultivated blueberries, the wild bilberry is dark purple to the core — its flesh, not only its skin, is rich in anthocyanins, giving an intense flavour and natural colouring power that industrial buyers rely on. Individually quick-frozen at peak ripeness, the berries stay loose and free-flowing, with structure, colour and nutrients preserved. They are sorted, cleaned and free of stems, leaves and foreign matter — ready for direct use in production. Typical applications: bakery fillings and toppings, yoghurt and dairy, jams and preserves, juices and concentrates, and nutraceutical extracts where high anthocyanin content matters. Sourcing is fully traceable from forest to finished pallet, and processing follows HACCP standards; organic-certified lots are available on request.
