Description

Fresh wild porcini mushrooms (Boletus edulis), also known as ceps, hand-picked in the forests of the Ukrainian Carpathians and supplied during the harvest season. Porcini cannot be cultivated, so availability follows nature — mushrooms are foraged, hand-selected and moved into the cold chain within hours of picking to preserve their firm, meaty texture, pale intact flesh and intense forest aroma. This is a seasonal, highly perishable product: we work to short lead times and chilled logistics so the mushrooms reach your kitchen or line at peak freshness. Depending on availability, fresh porcini are graded by size and quality — from premium whole caps for fine dining to sorting grades for further processing. Typical applications: restaurants and fine dining, fresh retail and specialist grocers, and processors making their own frozen, dried or preserved porcini. All mushrooms are hand-cleaned, sorted and checked for quality and foreign matter. Sourcing is traceable from forest to dispatch, and handling follows HACCP standards. Supplied in ventilated crates suited to fresh mushrooms, palletised and chilled for transport. Availability and minimum order are confirmed by season — please request current harvest status.
